Thank you for visiting Little Pumpkins Playcare, where little pumpkins grow with love and care. I’d like to take a moment to share a little about myself, so you can get to know the person who will be caring for your little pumpkin.

   I’m a mom to five amazing children, ranging in age from 25 to 2. I started my parenting journey at a young age, and over the years, I've dedicated my life to being the best mom I can be.

    From October 2001 to March 2004, I worked as a Patient Care Associate in the Labor & Delivery and Maternity Departments at my local hospital, occasionally helping in the Pediatrics Department as well. My role primarily involved assisting nurses with laboring and postpartum moms and caring for newborns in the nursery. It was an incredibly fulfilling experience, and I loved helping families welcome their little ones into the world.

 

     While I enjoyed my work at the hospital, I eventually decided I wanted to spend more time at home with my children. In the spring of 2004, I opened Little Pumpkins Playcare, a daycare where I cared for children in addition to my own. I loved every minute of it, but after a couple of years, my husband and I decided to grow our family further. I chose to close my daycare to focus on being home with my young children.

    Closing Little Pumpkins Playcare was a tough decision, but it was the right one for our family at the time. I always knew I would return to childcare someday, and after 13 years, I began the process to become registered once again. In August of 2022, I was thrilled to receive my OCFS registration and officially reopened Little Pumpkins Playcare.

 

     I am so excited to welcome more children into my program and continue this rewarding journey of providing care, love, and support to little ones. I can’t wait to meet you and your child!
